Critical Funding Need: Project Liberation
There are the 215,000 women currently incarcerated in the United States, and millions more entangled in the criminal justice system. Over the last three decades, the number of women imprisoned has increased 750 percent – double that of men. The vast majority of these women are mothers, and their crimes are non-violent. Once tagged with a criminal record, women face staggering barriers to successfully reintegrating into their families and communities.
Project Liberation provides a space for women at all stages of criminal justice involvement to feel safe, supported, empowered, and part of a community again.
Project Liberation is fiscally sponsored by Coaching The Global Village, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.

Myra sang a song of gratitude...and spoke of gaining the courage to go for her dream job...and Bernadette shared her renewed spirit and ability to make a choice to take a chance to make a change. … [Read More...]
