Sue McMahon

Sue McMahon is a Board Certified Professional Coach, and founder of Living from the Heart LLC based in Sylvania, Ohio.

Sue partners with her clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that boldly challenges, inspires, and empowers individuals to courageously maximize their personal and professional potential. She is recognized by her clients and colleagues as energetic, caring, intelligent, and intensely passionate. Her fierce desire for helping others live a life shaped by personal choice comes from her recognition of humanity’s deep hunger for living a more truthful life. Sue thrives on the diversity of the human spirit and the undeniable beauty she sees in every human being.

Sue was trained and certified as a Co-Active Life Coach (CPCC) by The Coaches Training Institute. She is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and holds the distinction of Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing & Education. Sue has devoted time and energy to the integrity and ethical conduct of the coaching profession, having served as the Co-Chair of the ICF Ethics and Standards Committee, and currently as a member of the Independent Review Board. She was also a founding chapter leader and Vice President of the Northwest Ohio ICF Chapter.

Volunteering is a way of life for Sue, who has spent countless hours in numerous volunteer capacities. Volunteer work within the Jewish Community included, Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo, Toledo Board of Jewish Education, Toledo Jewish Community Foundation Grants Committee, Toledo Soviet Resettlement Council, Partnership 2000 (P2K), Jewish Community Arts Council, and National Young Leadership Cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal. Not limited to volunteering within the Jewish community, Sue also served as a professional nurse volunteer with the American Red Cross, and currently the Lucas County Medical Reserve Corps. Other volunteer work includes such organizations as, Northwest Ohio Hospice Association, Jamie Farr Toledo Classic Golf Tournament, WGTE Public Broadcasting, and the Toledo Botanical Gardens.

Sue is enthusiastic about her work with Coaching the Global Village and feels privileged to be the chair for the board of directors. Sue’s passion for her work as a coach is second only to her greatest joy, spending time with her family. She currently resides with her husband in Northwest Ohio.
